Colin Strutt is a founding principal of Interisle Consulting Group, created in 2002. Colin has more than forty years of experience in networking technology. Colin develops software for and conducts data analyses to support Interisle’s Cybercrime Information Center Project. He contributes to Interisle’s series of “landscape studies” of phishing, spam, and malware activity.

Previous Interisle work included design and operation of a regional public safety network, providing technical expertise relating to patents, and analysis of world-wide Internet use. Prior to that, he was a technical director at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Compaq where he led a broad array of networking projects. At Compaq Professional Services he worked collaboratively with clients to develop implementable strategies for using the Internet. Before joining DEC, Dr. Strutt worked at British Airways on the operating systems and network software supporting the airline's planning and operational research departments.
Dr. Strutt holds a B.A. (with First Class Honours) and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Essex University (UK).
